MANCHESTER, N.H.—A pre-Thanksgiving storm is bringing rain for some and heavy, wet snow for others in New Hampshire.

The storm was expected to move in Tuesday night, starting as snow in most parts of the state.

The National Weather Service said mixed precipitation is possible across central and southern New Hampshire. The highest snowfall totals are expected to accumulate across central and northern New Hampshire, but the precipitation is expected to end from west to east by Wednesday afternoon.

The conditions may create some dangerous driving conditions as people travel for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Warmer and drier conditions are expected for Thanksgiving through the weekend, with temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
