3 more ski areas open in New Hampshire

FRANCONIA, N.H.—Friday marked more than the start of shopping season. In New Hampshire, it also marked the start of ski season for several resorts.
On the heels of this week's storm that dumped more than 10 inches of snow on parts of the state, Cannon Mountain Ski Area, Waterville Valley Resort and Attitash Mountain Resort all opened for the season Friday.
Ski NH says there are now six downhill ski areas open for business in New Hampshire, with anywhere from one to 11 trails open for skiing.
