CONCORD, N.H.—Police have arrested two men accused of defrauding a metal recycling business in New Hampshire out of $86,000.

Police say 44-year-old Leonardo Cantres was working at Schnitzer Northeast in Concord. He is accused of falsifying receipts when 41-year-old Thomas Yeaton brought scrap metal to the business. Yeaton was paid for scrap copper that was never delivered to the business for recycling.

Schnitzer Northeast discovered the theft through an internal audit.

Cantres, of Manchester, and Yeaton, of Hooksett, were charged with conspiracy to commit theft. Yeaton also was charged with breach of bail.
