Man dies in NH house fire

BOSCAWEN, N.H.—The New Hampshire State Fire marshal says a man has died in a house fire in Boscawen.
Bill Degnan said it happened Thursday afternoon in a single-family home with no operating smoke alarms along Route 4.
Degnan tells WMUR-TV (http://bit.ly/sKnadX) that by the time firefighters reached the man and pulled him from the house, he was already dead.
The man's name has not been released.
Firefighters are investigating the cause.
