CONCORD, N.H.—New Hampshire's Fish and Game Department is partnering with several groups to offer classes on ice fishing.
Most classes are free.
They're being offered in Lebanon, Greenland, Milford, Haverhill, Laconia, and Manchester.
Classes are being offered as early as Jan. 17 through late February.
All the ice fishing classes include pointers on equipment, safety, and winter ecology of lakes and pond, plus a field trip to a local pond.
More information can be found at the department's website.
