Doctor honored by patients in NH, Vt.
CHESTERFIELD, N.H.—A doctor who treats patients in Vermont and New Hampshire has received some special recognition.
Jorge Crespo in Chesterfield, N.H., has received the 2011 Patients' Choice Award after his patients rated his work.
The Brattleboro Reformer reports (http://bit.ly/ymu8Fc) Crespo, who specializes in dermatology, got high marks for being courteous and prompt; having a good bedside manner; spending time with patients; and following up with them.
Crespo, a doctor for 25 years, worked at the Cheshire Medical Center. He also had an office in Brattleboro before opening one in Chesterfield.
Patients' Choice says of the nation's 830,000 active physicians, just 5 percent were given the honor for 2011.
