CONCORD, N.H.—Dartmouth College has dropped all charges against 27 students accused of hazing, though the fraternity house they belong to still faces charges.

The school's Undergraduate Judicial Affairs Office brought charges earlier this month against the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and 27 of its members based on allegations made by former fraternity member Andrew Lohse (LOWSH).

Loshe had gone public in January with allegations of "dehumanizing" experiences he said he witnessed at the fraternity, including pledges being pressured to swim in a kiddie pool of vomit and other bodily fluids.

College spokesman Justin Anderson said Friday that information initially presented to the college supported the charges, but later information showed there was not a sufficient basis to proceed. Charges against the fraternity house remain pending.
