CONCORD, N.H.—The New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism is holding a "Reach the Summit" video contest for fourth-graders to explain and demonstrate why visitors should come to the state.
Students will work together as a class to create 60-second videos showcasing New Hampshire. The videos will be posted on the division's website.
The deadline for submissions is May 1. A panel will judge them in mid-May, selecting winners for categories such as best history, literary, overall acting, humor, and creativity.
The grand prize for the winning class is a "Reach the Summit" field trip to the Mount Washington Cog Railway. Runners-up will have their video clip played before scheduled showings at Red River Theatre in Concord.![]()
