Victims of violent crime to be remembered in NH

CONCORD, N.H.—Recent crime victims in New Hampshire, including Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney, will be remembered during this year's Crime Victims' Rights Day in the state.
The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence notes that in just under a month, nine people have lost their lives to violent crime, including the police chief, who was killed in the line of duty on April 12.
Events marking the day Tuesday will include speeches in Concord by New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch and Attorney General Michael Delaney, and a memorial service at St. Paul's Church in the city to pay tribute to all those who have died or have been traumatized by violent crime. A vigil and reception will follow.
