Duffel bag found by neighbor of slain NH mother
WOLFEBORO, N.H.—Three years after a New Hampshire woman was found slain in her home on Mother's Day, investigators say a neighbor has found a duffel bag that's being examined in connection with the case.
Senior Assistant Attorney General Jeffery Strelzin says the duffel bag was found on the neighbor's property about a week ago and appeared to have been outside for a while. It was not underground. He declined to comment on why it wasn't found earlier or what was found in the bag.
Strelzin tells Foster's Daily Democrat (http://bit.ly/KJjqUB) the bag and its contents are being examined to see if it relates to the death of 41-year-old Stacey Burns, who was found stabbed to death in her Wolfeboro home on Mother's day 2009.
No one has been arrested.
