CONCORD, N.H.—A nonprofit organization that creates awareness and demand for locally made products is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
The group, called New Hampshire Made, is holding an anniversary dinner in Concord on Thursday, featuring locally grown food.
New Hampshire Made was originally called New Hampshire Stories when it started in 1997, to emphasize that there's a story behind each person offering a product or service.
There are at least 850 members in the nonprofit group. Business owners must meet certain guidelines and pay an annual membership fee. Business owners are asked whether they own the rights to the product they're selling and whether they use New Hampshire materials and labor whenever possible.![]()
