GILFORD, N.H.—A town planning board in New Hampshire has tabled an application for final approval of an expanded Wal-Mart store.

The Gilford Planning Board is awaiting the results of an engineering report to review the proposed drainage system on the shopping center property for the expansion.

The Citizen reports (http://bit.ly/Mrg7w7) owners of the shopping center are proposing to increase the overall floor area of the building from 69,700 square feet to 129,870 square feet. That would require some demolition and reconstruction.

Both the Dollar Tree and Olympia Sports stores would be re-located to allow for the Wal-Mart expansion, which would include a full grocery store.
