Documents shed light on shooting at NH house
RYE, N.H.—New documents are shedding light on an unsolved shooting three years ago when somebody shot dozens of bullets at a million-dollar New Hampshire house.
Police were called to Peter Clark's house in Rye in June 2009 after somebody riddled the home with bullets.
The Portsmouth Herald ( http://bit.ly/N5tRAT) reported Sunday that Clark told police he thought a rift over a $12 million inheritance might have spurred the shooting.
The newspaper quoted documents from the Rockingham County Attorney's office as saying Clark thought his cousins were angry their mother had included him in her will, thereby cutting their shares by $2 million each. He also named three other people as possible suspects.
Clark declined to comment to the newspaper. One cousin declined comment, and the newspaper could not reach the other cousin.
