CONCORD, N.H.—Emergency response crews have recovered the body of a 49-year-old man from the Merrimack River in Concord.
New Hampshire State Police say Timothy Gee of Concord had been swimming with a friend Monday evening when they were caught in a current.
Authorities say the friend was able to make it to shore and hail a passerby who called 911.
Crews later recovered Gee's body from the river behind the Everett Arena.
State police say the incident remains under investigation until an autopsy is completed.![]()
