NH gov, council, eat breakfast at bus terminal
NASHUA, N.H.—To recognize a successful bus service, New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch and the Executive Council have picked a terminal along the route for their breakfast meeting.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says so far this year, more than 111,000 passengers have used the Boston Express bus service along the Everett Turnpike corridor, including 72,000 passengers out of the Nashua Terminal at Exit 8. That's an increase of nearly 22 percent compared to a year ago.
The group was holding breakfast at the terminal before their regular meeting Wednesday.
The Boston Express service operates between Manchester and Boston along the turnpike and Interstate 93. It recently served its one-millionth customer. The company began service out of Nashua in 2008.![]()
