NH pharmacy technician suspended after drug arrest
CONCORD, N.H.—The registration of a New Hampshire pharmacy technician has been suspended after he was arrested on charges of stealing prescription painkillers.
Steven Detweiler is accused of swiping more than 1,000 tablets of hydrocodone from his employer.
He was arrested on three felony charges of possession of controlled drugs and one misdemeanor charge of theft on Aug. 23.
The New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy suspended his registration on Sept. 5.
The board will meet on Sept. 19 to determine whether Detweiler's registration will remain suspended during the investigation.
It's unclear if Detweiler is being represented by a lawyer.
