The Globe poll, and the reaction

We've posted the entire poll at boston.com/politics, along with other surveys. But some readers (you know who you are) asked that the poll be posted here on Political Intelligence. Read it.

The Reilly campaign is ecstatic with the results, since the poll found that he is still in the race. We heard Reilly's allies sent an email around to supporters pointing, especially, to the undecideds and the finding that voters want to cut the income tax rate. Reilly wants to cut it, Gabrieli wants to cut it gradually, and Patrick opposes a cut in the rate.

Gabrieli's people, meanwhile, say they believe Reilly is further back than the Globe poll found (Globe had it at 31-30-27, Patrick, Gabrieli, Reilly). Patrick's people were directing people to their latest fundraising numbers and their candidate's depth of support.
