New NH poll shows Romney surging
A new poll of likely New Hampshire Republican primary voters shows Mitt Romney surging in the state, holding a commanding lead over rivals John McCain and Rudy Giuliani.
Romney led the survey with 28 percent. Giuliani was second with 18 percent, followed closely by McCain with 17 percent.
Potential candidate Fred Thompson was fourth with 9 percent.
The Franklin Pierce College/WBZ poll, of 409 likely Republican primary voters, was taken Wednesday, a day after the debate with Republican presidential candidates. The margin of error is 4.9 percent.
