GOP Debate planned in NH
The New Hampshire Republican Party and Fox News Channel announced they plan to hold a Republican presidential debate in New Hampshire this September.
The debate, scheduled for Sept. 5 at the University of New Hampshire, could be the first debate with a different Republican field. A handful of Republican candidates could drop out in August and Fred Thompson could enter the race with enough time to participate in the debate.
If it happens, it would be the second debate in New Hampshire in September. Later in the month, another debate sponsored by NBC News is scheduled to take place at Dartmouth College.
