New Hampshire Today, Aug. 1

In New Hampshire today Mitt Romney travels around at events in Southern New Hampshire including a stop at Manchester's famous Red Arrow diner.

It is a fairly slow news day for primary coverage in the state's newspapers.

The Concord Monitor's editorial board says Democratic presidential candidates need to have a strategy addressing the larger war on terrorism.

Barack Obama's presidential campaign announces they have the support of State Senator Jackie Cilley, a Barrington Democrat, the Globe reports.

The Foster's Daily Democrat reports that N.H. House Speaker Terie Norelli will endorse Hillary Clinton's campaign today.

The Associated Press has a report in this morning's Globe about legislation from three US Senators that want to reform the nation's presidential primary process and leave Iowa and New Hampshire at the front.
