In New Hampshire today Barack Obama visits the state has Republican presidential candidate Tommy Thompson says he's never coming back after dropping out of the race last night
Obama will have a full day of campaigning in New Hampshire with stops in Hanover, Keene, and Nashua. Joe Biden is also in the state with events in Tilton, Nashua, and Manchester.
In a press release last night, former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson dropped out of the Republican presidential race. Thompson said he would drop out if he wasn't a top finisher at the Ames Straw Poll Saturday and he wasn't.
Speaking of the Ames Straw Poll, the winner, Mitt Romney is receiving plenty of national attention, including being the main guest on Fox News Sunday. On the show he said demurred from calling himself the race's front-runner and his wife said she didn't remember writing a check to Planned Parenthood.
Romney is expected to return to New Hampshire Thursday.
Rudy Giuliani is also expected to be back in New Hampshire Thursday and Friday.
California Rep. Duncan Hunter will be in Manchester on Wednesday.
But the Concord Monitor reports John McCain is not just visiting the state often, it is where he is making his stand.
