Posted by James Pindell August 29, 2007 09:00 AM

In New Hampshire today there is some buzz about a big union endorsement for Chris Dodd and the upcoming Republican debate, but overall still a relatively quiet day with no candidates in the state.

The Globe reports on the expected endorsement of Dodd by the International Association of Fire Fighters in Washington today. After the endorsement Dodd and union officials will travel to Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. The New Hampshire leg will just be one event in Manchester Friday morning.

The Union Leader's editorial page says that Fred Thompson really should attend the Fox News/NH GOP debate on Tuesday.

At a debate among Manchester mayoral candidates, education was the topic.

The Associated Press reports that anti-war protesters are still hounding US Senator John E. Sununu.
