New Hampshire Today, Sept. 5

Posted by James Pindell September 5, 2007 11:47 AM

In New Hampshire today is the nationally televised Republican presidential debate. Every candidate will participate (except soon to be candidate Fred Thompson).

The debate will be on Fox News Channel from 9pm-10:30pm. You will want to check out this blog as the debate approaches for updates from Durham, where the debate will be held.

A number of Republican candidates were already in the state yesterday holding events like Sam Brownback, Tom Tancredo, Mike Huckabee, and John McCain.

McCain spoke to the Concord Monitor editorial board and said a pull out in Iraq is a bad idea.

In other news the Union Leader reports that New Hampshire native/US Supreme Court justice may have cried over the Bush v Gore decision.

John Edwards's campaign said he will return to New Hampshire this weekend.
