New Hampshire Today, Sept. 12
In New Hampshire today the waiting game continues as to when the state's presidential primary will take place as Florida and Michigan up the stakes to the Democratic National Committee.
The Associated Press writes that representatives from those two states wrote the DNC to complain that no one has threatened to punish New Hampshire if they moved up their primary date from the DNC scheduled Jan. 22, something that appears highly likely.
The DNC isn't commenting.
The Globe writes about how five presidential candidates took the stage with General Petraeus yesterday.
Nashua's city primary yesterday advanced an Alderman-at-Large and the former deputy House Speaker into a run-off for the open mayor's job this November.
The Union Leader writes that adding slot machines to Rockingham Park will be the only thing that can save the horse-track on the Massachusetts border.
