New Hampshire Today, Sept. 28
In New Hampshire today, John Edwards continues on last of his two day tour of the state a day after his campaign announced they will opt-in to the country's public financing system.
Such a move could put him at a serious financial disadvantage and "curtail" his campaign in New Hampshire, the Globe writes.
Yesterday Edwards took part in a first of its kind MySpace/MTV forum at the University of New Hampshire, the Associated Press reports.
The Globe also writes how Mitt Romney's campaign is trying to put a good face on poll numbers this week in New Hampshire showing his once commanding lead in the state vanishing.
One person surging in that poll is John McCain. But on his recent trip to the state the Globe writes how he might have illegally used on duty military members for campaign purposes.
The Concord Monitor takes in the scene at US Senator John E. Sununu's Manchester office while there is an anti-war protest.
