Thompson's NH schedule emerges
Fred Thompson will make his first visit to New Hampshire as an official candidate this weekend. At his first event, Thompson will have the chance to sample 38 different kind of chili and meet 300 members of the Seacoast Federation of Republican Women at their annual chili fest in Stratham. On Sunday he is expected to campaign alongside Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta, who is running for re-election, by going to different sports bars before the Patriots game. Later that afternoon he will attend a meet and greet in Nashua organized by Mayor Bernie Streeter, a supporter of John McCain.
He filed papers to be a candidate today and held campaign events in Iowa.
