Dodd's Fenway gimmick fails
Chris Dodd's campaign thought they were on to something. They needed campaign contribution and Red Sox Nation wanted playoff tickets. So anyone who gave a contribution of $20.04 (like the magical year) was entered into a raffle to attend game six of the current series with Dodd.
But Major League Baseball says that ticket is technically their property and they are the only ones who can give ticket promotions.
CBS News reports the contest is now off.
