New Hampshire Today, Oct. 4
In New Hampshire today Mitt Romney holds several town hall meetings as he tries to hang on to his front-runner status in the Granite State.
Romney is, of course, the former Massachusetts governor who has a house in New Hampshire. He, unlike Giuliani, will probably know the difference between the states. For Yankee loving Giuliani maybe it could be that Red Sox Nation all bleeds together.
But he was very clear that he is the only Republican who can beat Hillary Clinton.
John Edwards spent Wednesday on the Seacoast where he talked about eduation at a high school, met with workers at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and discussed the role of Blackwater, the controversial private security firm in Iraq.
Also in New Hampshire yesterday Ron Paul told the Union Leader it is "time to bring the troops home".
The Union Leader also has the latest tea-leaves over potential dates of the state's presidential primary.
And whenever that primary is the press and campaigns will be paying higher tolls to use highways in the state.
Former Governor Jeanne Shaheen, the Democratic US Senate candidate, spent another day on the campaign trail.
