New Hampshire Today, Nov. 1
In New Hampshire today Joe Biden and Mike Gravel will file papers placing them on the state presidential primary ballot while the date for that primary remains up in the air -- until Michigan decides what they want to do.
In the local news John Edwards was certainly pleased the New Hampshire chapter of the Service Employees International Union endorsed him, but not all members of that union are pleased. The Monitor, Nashua Telegraph and Associated Press also try to explain what happened with the SEIU in the last week.
For the second time this week the Globe puts on the front page a story looking at how clear Hillary Clinton is being on her positions on Social Security and Iran. A different Globe story today examines the issue of Clinton and her home state's proposal to give illegal immigrations driver's licenses.
Speaking of immigration and the presidential race the Globe this examines what the "sanctuary city" designation means for those living in these Masschusetts cities.
And the Globe also loooks more intensely at the Democratic presidential candidate's positions on Iran.
The Union Leader takes a look at when Bill Gardner could decide when the New Hampshire Primary takes place. They also have word of a fourth Republican considering a run for Congress in the state's second district.
Also in the state yesterday was Rudy Giuliani where he went on the attack on Hillary Clinton.
