New Hampshire Today, Nov. 5
In New Hampshire today Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani will appear just down the street from each other in events.
Thompson will spend his third trip to the state as a candidate speaking at the traditional Politics and Eggs breakfast in Bedford. He will then go to Rochester where he'll speak at the same arms manufacturer where John McCain joked he wanted to shoot Osama Bin Laden personally.
Giuliani will host a town hall meeting at Saint Anselm College.
Over the week there were two great stories about the demographic and political changes in New Hampshire. One story was in the Globe and the other in the Chicago Tribune (written by a former Globe staffer, by the way.)
Another day, another Bill Gardner profile. This one is in the St. Petersburg Times.
Writing for the Globe's Idea Section, Washington bureau reporter Sasha Issenberg analyzes the role of Barry Goldwater on Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
The Nashua Telegraph's Kevin Landrigan to uses his Sunday column to explain Clinton's dust-up and the the NH SEIU's endorsement of John Edwards.
The Union Leader's Tom Fahey warns that the SEIU may revisit that endorsement later this month. Oh my.
