PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Gas prices jump again in Rhode Island.
A survey by AAA Southern New England shows a gallon of regular, unleaded is averaging $3.58 at a self-service station. That's a 15-cent increase over last week and a 24 percent increase from the same time last year.
A similar survey by the state Office of Energy Resources shows gas prices averaging a penny more, at $3.59.
Gas prices here are just short of the national average of $3.60.![]()
