Guard members to return home after six-month deployment

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.—Twenty-five members of the Rhode Island Air National Guard are returning home after a six month deployment.

The airmen were deployed last December and were stationed in Saudi Arabia, where they performed airbase ground defense and law enforcement missions.

The guardsmen are members of the 143rd Airlift Wing's 143rd Security Forces Squadron.

They are due Monday morning at Quonset Point Air National Guard Base in North Kingstown.
