HOPKINTON, R.I.—A parent has been arrested for allegedly showing teenagers pornography, then offering one of them alcohol and cigarettes at a Boy Scout camp in Hopkinton.

Police arrested Randolph Johnson on Tuesday for a July 14 incident at the Yawgoog Boy Scout Reservation.

A spokesman for the Narragansett Council of the Boy Scouts says Johnson was camping with his son's troop. He allegedly showed two teenage staffers pornographic films on a laptop computer. The teens reported that Johnson offered one of them alcohol and cigarettes.

Johnson was ordered to leave the camp. He was charged this month with misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and procuring alcohol and providing cigarettes to a minor.

Court records do not list an attorney for Johnson. He could not be reached for comment.
