BOSTON—A new book about Philip Markoff, accused of killing a masseuse he met through Craigslist, includes an account by a Las Vegas woman allegedly robbed at gunpoint by the Boston University medical student.
"Seven Days of Rage: The Deadly Crime Spree of the Craigslist Killer," was written by Boston Globe reporter Maria Cramer and TV producer Paul LaRosa.
Trisha Leffler spoke in the book and on CBS' "48 Hours Mystery" about her encounter at the Westin Copley Place hotel with a young man who responded to an ad she posted in the erotic-services section of Craigslist.
Leffler said she was tied up and robbed in her room by the the man, who also took two pair of her underwear.
Markoff has pleaded not guilty to killing Julissa Brisman of New York at another Boston hotel.
