The superintendent of Central Falls’ troubled schools says 14 of 81 high school teachers were graded unsatisfactory in the latest round of evaluations. Superintendent Frances Gallo told The Providence Journal the outside evaluations give officials clear data that can be used to help teachers and students. Central Falls High drew national attention in February when the entire staff was fired for poor student performance. Most of the teachers got their jobs back in May under certain conditions, including acceptance of the evaluations.![]()
