WARWICK, R.I.—A special tricycle given to a Warwick family featured on the ABC television show The ABC show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" has been stolen.
The $400 tricycle was used by 17-year-old Kenny Silva, who has a medical condition that causes balance problems. Silva uses the trike to deliver newspapers and the family says it cannot afford to replace it.
The Silvas, who have five children and have served as a foster family for many others, received a new house from the home makeover show in 2008.
The Silvas tell WLNE-TV they will not press charges if the trike is voluntarily returned.
