SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.—Rhode Island is temporarily closing a Division of Motor Vehicles branch office in South Kingstown for renovations.
The office will close Monday and is scheduled to reopen in a week.
Other DMV branch offices will remain open and will operate on their normal schedules.
State DMV officials say the closure was necessary because of renovation work scheduled for the Stedman Government Center.
