Kennedy Plaza terminal closing an hour earlier

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—The passenger terminal at Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence will close an hour earlier every day as part of cost-saving efforts.
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority's terminal will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The change is effective immediately.
Hours for the RIPTA ticket window and the RIPTA photo ID office, located at the transportation center, will remain the same.
All long-distance buses and most local routes stop at the terminal.
