PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Two Rhode defense attorneys have pleaded not guilty to accusations that they were involved in a bribery plot involving two of their former clients.

Gerard Donley and Donna Uhlmann entered their pleas on Friday on multiple charges, including bribery of a witness and obstructing or impeding due administration of justice. Their attorneys say they deny the charges.

Lawyers for Donley and Uhlmann say prosecutors are accusing them of seeking to bribe a man who was summoned by authorities to testify at a violation hearing for Donley's former client, Jamaal Dublin. Dublin has also been indicted.

Uhlmann's lawyer Gary Pelletier says Dublin is accused of stabbing Uhlmann's former client. He says prosecutors allege Uhlmann's former client is a co-conspirator in the case, but doesn't face charges.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Dublin.
