Ted Williams Tunnel closure

Posted by Mac December 18, 2006 07:15 PM

Prepare ye for tunnel closures.

The westbound Ted Williams Tunnel will completely and absolutely close from 11 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) to 5 a.m. Wednesday. It's all for lane marking and "set-up work," said a Big Dig press release.

Traffic headed for the Pike west or I-93 south will be detoured to the Sumner Tunnel, where they will follow a detour via the Gov't Center exit.

One lane of the westbound Ted will also be closed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. tomorrow, but a single lane will keep traffic rolling.
