ST. ALBANS, Vt. (AP) — Police in the northwestern Vermont town of St. Albans say they’re investigating a home invasion.

Police say two armed individuals forced their way into a home on James Circle in St. Albans Town a bit after 7 p.m., and demanded cash and prescription drugs at gunpoint from the resident and sole occupant.

Police say the suspects stole a guitar as they left the home.

The resident went to a neighbor’s house and called police.

Police say they have a strong lead in the case and that the investigation continues.end of story marker
