BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) — A 37-year-old Vermont man is being held without bail following his arrest on charges he sexually assaulted a child.

Daniel Mager, of Wardsboro, is charged with repeated aggravated sexual assault of a child and three other charges.

Police say the victim told detectives she and Mager had sex about a dozen times last spring and that Mager told her he wanted to marry her once she turned 16.

The Brattleboro Reformer (http://bit.ly/VFD0V9 ) reported that Mager denied having sexual contact with the girl.

Mager was arraigned Thursday and appeared in court again Friday for another hearing.

A bail hearing has not been scheduled.
