WINOOSKI, Vt. (AP) — A fugitive sought in Vermont is still missing after police with a search warrant evacuated an apartment in Winooski.
Deputy Police Chief Rich Benoit did not release the person’s name or why they were looking for the fugitive. He only said the person was from New York and was not in the apartment during the search Tuesday.
Benoit said other people were found inside the apartment, including one person with an active arrest warrant.
