A look at the Chittenden Rapid Intervention Community Court between Sept. 14, 2010 and Dec. 5, 2012:

Total number of people who finished the program: 470

Total number of people who failed to finish: 71

Percentage of people who finished the program and were later convicted of a crime: 7.4 percent

Percentage of people who failed to finish and were later convicted of a crime: 23.9 percent

Percentage of people who finished the program and were conviction-free after one year: 92.8 percent
