Convicted Vt. felon gets 18 months in gun case
MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — The Vermont office of the United States attorney says a 23-year-old Enosburg Falls man is going to spend 18 months in prison after being convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Ean Fisher-Morrison, of Enosburg Falls, was sentenced by Judge Garvan J. Murtha.
Court records say that in the spring of 2011 Fisher-Morrison was on furlough for state felony charges of possession of stolen property when he purchased an AR-15 rifle, several large capacity magazines, and ammunition from a St. Albans man in exchange for work on the man’s sugarbush.
A probation officer late found the rifle outside Fisher-Morrison’s home.
Fisher -Morrison was then returned to prison.
The federal sentence will be served at the same time as his state sentence.![]()
