Rutland, Vt., fire displaces 3 families

RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) — Three Rutland families have been displaced after a fire in an apartment building.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control a short time after it was reported at 10:20 a.m. on Friday.
The Rutland Herald reports that everyone in the building at 115 Maple Street made it out safely.
The Red Cross is working with the families to provide them temporary housing and financial support.
