MORRISVILLE, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont house that exploded after the owner activated his garage door opener is considered a total loss, with damage estimated at about $400,000.
Vermont State Police say portions of the house, roof and walls were spread throughout Alfred Leikert’s yard in Morrisville on Wednesday afternoon. They said the house had several propane-fueled appliances.
