ESSEX, Vt. (AP) — The Vermont International Festival is underway at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction.
The event kicked off Friday and runs through Sunday with crafts, food, dancing and musical performances representing cultures from around the world.
More than 40 vendors are expected to sell imported handcrafts from Indian, Guatemala, Uzbekistan, Haiti, Zimbabwe, China, Mexico, Colombia, Kenya and Tibet. African, Turkish, Iranian, Bosnian and Italian foods will also be available.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets cost $7 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 years old and $5 for seniors. Admission is free for children under age 6. Family passes are also available for $20.
