MONTPELIER, Vt.—Vermont Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie says he wants another term.

Dubie is a three-term Republican who until Thursday had been quiet about his re-election plans.

So far, no other candidate has entered the race for lieutenant governor.

Dubie was first elected lieutenant governor in 2002.

He is a commercial pilot and a colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Last year Dubie applied for the top job at the Federal Aviation Administration, but the job went to another candidate.

At the time Dubie said he wasn't seeking a new job, but had been encouraged to apply.
