RANDOLPH, Vt.—The Chandler Music Hall in Randolph is kicking off the second phase of its $5 million capital campaign.

The first $2 million for the town-owned building has already been raised and last year town voters decided to kick in $750,000 for the project.

Some of the biggest changes to the 100-year-old hall won't be visible to passers-by, but they will bring the stage into the 21st Century.

Other improvements will include building infrastructure, rehearsal space, rooms for community meetings, storage for bulky technical equipment and costumes and storage.
